# xarray.core.accessor_str.StringAccessor.swapcase

#### StringAccessor.swapcase()[[source]](https://github.com/pydata/xarray/blob/main/xarray/core/accessor_str.py#L732-L754)

Convert strings in the array to be swapcased.

* **Returns:**
  **swapcased** (`same type as values`)
